What does the term MPa mean?

MPa is the metric unit for pressure or stress called megapascal (MPa). The term is used in concrete as the common unit for compressive strength. If you have a project which requires a defined strength of concrete - i.e. 20MPa to set the posts for a raised deck - then its time to call Mini-Crete Concrete and have concrete delivered it’s the only way to guarantee the structural strength in the concrete.

It takes approx 15 wheel barrows to unload 1 cubic metre of concrete

To mix 1 cubic metre of concrete by hand you need 1.5 tonnes of gravel 0.75 tonnes of sand and 10 bags of 20kg cement then add clean water.

The weight of 1 cubic metre of concrete is approx 2400kg.

To work out the volume of concrete always remember length x width x depth.

It takes approx 110x20kg premixed concrete bags to make 1 cubic meter
